Just bumped up the thread for you on "Saving seeds of New World Sages."

My B&B plant is sending out runners and I have worlds of new little plants. They have even started coming up in my lawn. I don't have to worry about collecting seeds.

hey mimidi, same here. Going on 2 years with it now, its nice to see the new ones all around! Im letting them grow and once they get a good size, I can scatter them through my other garden areas!

Mine produced few seeds last year, & you really have to watch closely because they dispurse when you aren't looking. I planted them in case the parent didn't come back, only got a couple of seedlings from them, but the parent is really looking good right now, no blooms yet though.

I've only had one seedling, as opposed to runners, come up in the past 8 years or so. The only way I know for sure is the leaves are much less stinky, and the young stems had less hair on them. Like others here, my plants rarely form seeds, although I could now kick myself for not picking those that did form, as it would be interesting to see what kind of plants they might have grown.
