(Blauhugel)and Maynight (Mainacht) do not take heat well here in Texas.they seem to prefer cooler climates than ours
so it may perform fine in Fresno.I would think giving them

Salvia gesneraeflora 'Tequila'don't know any salvias called
'Tequila Sunrise'one more correction,Salvia coccinea 'Forest Fire' again don't know a greggii called 'Forest Fire'.S. gesneraeflora'Tequila'should be fine with 6 hours or sun. My coccinea'Forest Fire'is
good with all day sun I find the coccineas very shade tolerant as well. Hope this helps to sort things out for
you.

Thanks, Art. We are home now, and the Salvias passed CA Boarder inspection. Your info will be of great help now that I can actually get them into the ground.
