Yes they will. I saved seeds from sweet red bell peppers, rinsed them off, dried them on a paper towel and then stored them until I was ready to plant. Got great germination and the sweetest red bell peppers ever.

i am great full we use a lot of bell peppers and peppers in gemeral.

Just remember that sometimes you won't get exactly the same thing you expect,as peppers can cross pollinate in the field; and more importantly, if they are hybrid the seedlings are likely to turn out different.

I saved seed from Cayenne Peppers someone gave me and the next generation showed a lot of variability. Nevertheless, sometimes growing such seeds works out just fine. It's fun to "be cheap!"
