almost but not quite question

Hello all you pro seed persons, I have a question. Some of my plants such as hostas, pink meadowsweet, buddleia and a couple astilbes are not quite 'dry' I am in zone 5 and the colder wet weather is setting in. Is it possible to take them in a dry them inside. I am afraid they will rot before nature does its job. Thanks for any help. Susan

Not sure about all of them, but you may be able to get away with cutting the stem off of the Buddleja and placing it in a vase of water in a sunny window until it matures...

I have done this with quite a few different plants. It has already been pollinated, so you are just waiting for ripe seeds. Some cuttings won't survive in a vase for extended (waiting) periods.
