I have black dots on my Peachtree bark. I have hard ooze coming from the fruit. I have ants as well. I am not a gardener, I moved here, I am trying to keep these trees alive. There were two next to each other before I cut one down. Both have had this problem since I have lived here for four years. Instead of cutting It down I would like to save it and harvested. Please help this is not the only tree on the property.
