There is a small asparagus farm in mid TN that sells 2 year old roots that will be ready 4 lite harvest when you plany the. They are called the ASPARAGUS GARDENER that is where we got out plants. Service was realy prompt and they know ther stuff. A real farm is the only place to get them. Most other are stored in cold storage and treated with chemicals to reduce mold and extend shelf life. Inreturn this dmages the root and limits yeild life of roots. They will point out what will grow where ect.
