Ok, I spilled the beans on the topic so now I'll let you know that the speaker will be none other than our very own...

Lucas Holman

aka Daylily Kid

Lucas is 23 years old

He has been employed most of his life with Westel Greenhouse LLC, a wholesale greenhouse in Rockwood, TN owned by his aunt & uncle.

He went to Tennessee Technological University and graduated with a B.S. in Agriculture with a concentration in Horticulture

He was an Extension Agent for the University of Tennessee-among his responsibilities was establishing the first Master Gardener class in Fayette Co.

Currently he is working on his M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction at Tennessee Technological University.

Presently he is also employed by Burgess Falls Nursery in Cookeville.

Lucas will do an exemplary job in bring our lecture to life with his youth, enthusiasm and passion for the topic as well as public speaking.

I am very excited to have him accept the task and look forward to listening to his expertise on the subject matter.
