Sunday, I sowed the first of my summer seeds - 208 Early Wonder. The first ones germinated today. It's probably two weeks early but this is the first year using horticubes and I have no idea how fast they will grow. At worst, I'll have some tall seedlings!

My first seed sprouted yesterday. I'm on my way.

You can pre-sprout your seeds by placing them on a piece of moist paper towel, rolling the paper towel, and setting it in a sealed baggie on top of a warm refrigerator or heating pad. It works great and my DH swears it increases germination rates!

You realise I'm sure, its late in the season for us to start seeds.
I'm in Boynton Beach, fourty miles north of North Miami, my youngest plants are two months old and I hope theres time before the heat and rain of summer.

As near as I can tell, Sunmaster have me 6 out of 11. I am planning to attempt to grow tomatoes over the summer. This time I have the right varieties. They include Everglades.

Just started my tom (and pepper and eggplant) seedlings on Sat evening. Had my first sprouts pop through last night, the San Marzanos. For a few of the varieties I started, I AM using seed from last year, I hope they make it.
