I was introduced to some seeds last spring so in the ground they went. Usually only plant what I can eat and leave flowers to wifey but the Internet intrigued me on datura. Planted along an 8-foot wooden fence along my driveway. They grew to at least 3 foot this year and had beautiful flowering. My question is; since IÂve had two good freezes and they are leafless now what is the trim procedure? Can I cut them off at ground level? They are well mulched, am in south TN so hope they will be there next spring. The only thing I know about what type they are is they bloom upright, the white ones are single blossoms while the violet are double blossoms. My driveway would look better if I can trim to ground level.
