Started Seed Today

To Give Away: Italian Sweet, German Pink, Earl's Faux (except for 1 which I will grow),Marianna's Peace, Cherokee Purple (except for 1 which I will grow)

To Grow: Opalka, Uncle Mark Bagby, Lucky Cross, Stump of the World (first time in my garden), Black From Tula, Neves Azorean Red (first time in my garden).

In the past CP set fruit first (often large double blossoms), then burned out by the end of July. EF is reported to have terrific flavor but questionable staying power in the dog days of summer. I am sending those plants north to compadres in Chicago.

Italian Sweet and German Pink are for a friend that is a fan of very sweet large tomatoes.

I have some MP seed left over from a couple of years ago. It did not fare well in the heat for me, and I'm sending them to Chicago as well.

Seed on hand not started: Persimmon, Hugh's (no flavor), Azoychka (complicated flavor and decent yield), ARGG (nobody liked it but me), and Rio Grande (Did not germinate).
