Yeah I can't wait for July either. Does this mean that each month the person we send to will send stuff to us? Or does a different person send to us?

I understand that it doesnt start until July...being it is June 1st I dont need to send to anyone...for this month correct?! Just asking because if I need to know I wonder if any one else may need to understand that as well.

LilyL. wow that is some nice blues and pinks you have in your garden! We have mostly newly opened dandelions to show off...guess I spend June getting it ready for some pictures. Here I come blackflies and mosquitoes!

Could some of you others in the robin post pics of your gardens...it gives me more insight and I enjoy getting to know you all better.

No packages to be sent for the month of June. And no........the person you are sending to is not the same person sending to you in the same month.

Talking about mosquitoes.......sheesh! We have had rain for the past 3 days straight and it looks like we will have it for another 2. We will be Mosquito Haven by the end of next week!

I'd send a garden pic, but don't know that the whole garden woudl fit in one picture. My veggie garden is 50 feet by 200 feet. I don't know that 45 rows of veggies would fit on film!! LOL

Will try to send a flower garden pic tho when it's all blooming.

Please send me some rain! We haven't had any in weeks and weeks,, I don't think we even got 2 inches last month. The ground is dry! My July Pal doesn't have any plants listed on her trade page. Would love to be able to send plants she doesn't have... Hope I guess good! lol

If no plants are listed, check her seed wants. Maybe you have plants that will match some of her seed wants. :-) If not, email me and I'll ask her what kind of plants she would like of if she has any preferences.

And IF you do get plants you can't use, PLEASE plant them in a pot or something until your next box goes out and send them to someone else. Don't let them die. I'd rather you trade an unwanted plant I sent you for something you DO want or send it to someone else, than for you to toss it out.

Yikes! I think Dusty is talking to me. My yard was a total blank in June of 2001 so for the last 4 years anything was welcome. Now I need to think it over. I'll work on it this weekend and have it up by Monday.

Hi, y'all!!

No...Dusty's DEFINITELY talking about MY trade lists...

My project this summer is developing beds on either side of the walk that leads to the "main door" into my house (not the "front door"). I'll try to post pix of the area later, but, for now, I've planned on 2 'Buff Beauty' roses in obelisks (appx. 7' tall) on either side at the driveway end. Since people INSIST on cutting thru the bed on the house end, whether they're coming from the front yard or the back (myself included), I'm planning on shorter annuals and/or perinneals on either side of the house end. I'm open for suggestions regarding filling in the bed from one height extreme to the other...just guessing, but the beds are appx 20' long and 2' wide on either side of a straight, red brick walkway.

I also have a bulb bed that could still be considered "in development". Currently, there is a 'Red Rocket' Crepe Myrtle, some crinums, about 90 Asiatic, Oriental, Madonna, and Tiger lily bulbs (reds, whites, yellows, oranges and salmons), a number of Dutch Iris, Tall Bearded Iris (mainly blue and "black") and white 'Iris florentina' (?), several varieties of daffs, tulips (red, orange, yellow, white...which may--or may not--come back next year), and hyacinths (ditto the tulips), ixiolirion, Ipheion 'Rolf Fiedler', chionodoxa, muscari (dark blue to white), crocus (variety of colors), and anemone blanda. This bed is triangular, 20' long on either of the straight sides. I have some daisies, daylilies, and sedums that I will be putting into that bed(if I EVER get a chance *g*)...

Oh, and, both beds are in the full, blazing-hot Texas sun from the crack-of-dawn to sundown....

Hopefully, this gives all the rest of y'all something to work with, in addition to my answers on my questionnaire...

Haven't heard from Gardennutinva. I sent her her list asking that she get back to me to let me know she got it and understands it, but haven't heard anything from her since like May 26th. I'm in the same robin, and am hoping it gets back on track.

I would give her another week as the garden web site has been difficult in May to get logged onto and she may have gotten frustrated and distracted. ( Lets hope all is well)

I just got an email from gardennutinva after I emailed her yesterday, It seems that her father has became quite ill and is recovering in the hospital from a heart attack. She asked that I would pass that along and that she would be trying to get back with us all soon...please pass that along in any other robins that she may be missing. SHe misses us all and hopes to be back, please dont forget her.

10's you need to put additional on it like this: ( delete all (")I had to use them in order to explain it all.
At he very beginning of the address prior add this "" with no space to your attachment. Remember not to type any of the " marks as I have to use them to illustrate with and keep it from programing into a graphic. I'll email you because it doesnt work on here well...it keeps changing to a graphic instead of allowing me to explain .

I am back. I have been away for 2 weeks now. My father had a heart attack the end of May and I went to stay with my mom. We took turns staying with him he finally got to come home over the weekend so I got to come home too! Thank goodness!! There's no place like home!
