if privacy is an issue, bamboo shades will do the trick. If privacy isn't an issue....love the outdoors through the open windows!

For the windows behind your bed.... shutters could be an option for you. That way you don't have to worry about a curtain rod cutting off the half round window. For your doors....I like the idea of panels on both sides. It will help soften up your space and give it a little more texture and color to your room. But love all the natural light!

Only the one on the left goes to the floor. The others are short , about two feet in height.

Not sure what your budget is, but I think white plantation shutters would look beautiful. But you would probably have to go custom which will get very pricy.

So much wonderful light. You only show two walls. What is the rest of the room like? I like the ideas above. You might also want to consult someone who does custom window treatments for ideas. Sometimes you can get referrals from shops that sell drapery fabrics or friends. They will usualliy have pictures of windows they have done.

Look at Roman blinds for the windows over your bed and the tall one next to them.

I would remove the panels where you install Roman blinds. There are many examples on Houzz where Roman blinds are used on some windows and panels on others.

Wovens over on the short windows, woven on the long window, cut to measure and all hung from the same point. Remove drapes and rod. Move our bed to the center of the half wall and replace lamps with wall lights. The patio doors are not windows and as houssaon said, you can treat that wall differently.

Something you didn't ask, but would you consider painting the headboard wall a different color from the rest of the room?

Judyg, yes I am open to changing the color of the headboard and the headboard wall.

I'm sorry. You know I never saw the headboard in the picture. My thought was to make the wall your headboard by centering the bed and doing something different on that wall...a different paint color, there are fun decals that look like headboards, wallpapering it in grasscloth or another fun paper, fabric on a board and framed with picture molding.
