I noticed you plant some of these next to your house (Sapodilla). Is there any concern with these trees invading the house foundation? Anyone have experience with what types of tropical fruit trees are safe (or unsafe) to plant close to a house?

thats actually a metal shed so no worries there.

shrubs like my barbados cherry, grumichama and soon to be black surinam cherry are all hedged along my house along with my bananas.

Great pics! I love seeing what other people are growing in their yards. Also, very nice sugar apple! I dream of the day, when I get to see a mango or cherimoya dripping off the branches on my trees...lol

Thanks for the pictures. Which Dragon Fruit are you growing? I don't see any bloom on yours in the pics. Have you fruited yours yet? I have, I think, four varieties that are in bloom now. Was over a friend's house who has a large stand of American Beauty with fruit that is just about ready to harvest. Mine are in the stage just after bloom, with the drooping flower still attached and when you are waiting to see if there will actually be fruit set or if pollination failed.
