Mango Help Requested

Hey Now,

I've been lurking on this website and others gathering info on Mango varieties, their requirements etc.. So, this week I purchased a 3 gal grafted Cogshall mango from my local nursery here in Lafayette, LA..(I already have a three year old avocado- doing really well). It's been so hot here that I put the mango temporarily(still in original pot) where it would get morning sun and afternoon shade and watered it really well. The new leaves completely wilted and are dead dead and the rest of the leaves are either drying up or hanging straight down.

When I purchased it one of the other Cogshalls was dried up and dead, but this one looked vigorous except for splitting of the main stem down by the graft. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
