Please help :-( Oranges and bannanas

Hi My friends,

Ok, I am am almost done with my fruit collection project for my yard. I need the following so need some advice of where I can get it. I just found out that they lift the south Florida ban on citrus trees such as oranges, lemons, and etc... I am so excited! As a kid living in South Florida, almost every home had a tree. Now, since you all are experts just want to know a few things:

1.) What kind does well in miami? Should I go for Valencia? I am looking for something that produces many oranges and taste great. Good size too and disease resilient in My area.

2.) Where can I buy one? I can't find a nursery that sells oranges.... How about Lemons, where can I find? I am interested in that also..

3.) Can I just plant a seed and will it bear fruits right away? Or do I have to get a grafted tree? How soon will it take to bear fruit grafted vs. non-grafted?

Now, for the Banana question:

I got a nice Banana tree from a friend which is from Cuba, it is doing well and growing fast and looks healthy.

I want to buy the following:

1.) A Giant Plantain? Where can I find? Any of you willing to sale me a young one? I know it is easy to transplant them from one location to another. IF you have, I would love to buy a young one from you.

2.) How about those large bananas, like the ones you find in Publix supermarket/costco.. They are usually large and tastey. They are made by Dole or Chiquita... What kind of banana is that? Where can I buy it? Any of you in my area willing to sell me one if you have? I am looking for some youngs.

Please send me your replies. Thanks.
