Guava and guayaba are the same.
Guanabana is soursop- annona muricata.

Gwen is right. Guayaba is spanish for Guava.

Ganabana is a totally different fruit. It is called Soursop in english or Annona Muricata.

There is also Guaya!. This is how we refer to Meliccocus bijigatus in Mexico.

In case you see "Bayabas" as well, that's Filipino for Guava.

I guess the only way to really determine the difference is to go to Fiesta today and buy the frozen pulp of all three. I'll bet the third one was guaya, as mentioned above. I'll let you know how the taste test goes.

guavas and guanavanas are very different fruits, take it from a person who comes from a tropical coutry where guavas are abundant, they are elongated and the outside is hard you cant bite it, you must brake the outer shell to get to the fruit whish is is inside the pod, the flesh is white and velvety guanavana on the other hand is rounded or oval in shape the flesh is pinkish, the outside is soft
