So my worms got in last Wed. I have 2 bins set up so I split the worms half and half and then had to go out of town unexpectedly on Thursday morning gone through last night(4 days). I finally had a chance to look at them this morning and one bin seems to have several worms trying to escape out the top. I realize that they are probably trying to leave an environment they are not liking or used to, however, the other bin has NO worms on top. I did look around in there and the worms are around just not trying to get out of the bedding. They have very similar bedding but this one might have larger chunks of cardboard in it (I filled it by tearing by hand vs the shredder) and it seems to be wetter overall. Would they be leaving the other bin due to not enough moisture? Its moist just not as wet as the other bin. I noticed this as I added the worms so I covered half of that bin with damp whole newspaper. Just looking to see if I need to change any thing up or leave it alone as its still so new.
