Not that I know of. I actually used to think wintercreeper was pretty, and I planted 6 small containers of it last year but couldn't get them to thrive. It was only when I decided that I'd had enough, and tried to dig them up, that this horrid plant decided it wanted to live. And live it does. No matter what I do, the stuff keeps popping back up.

We are planning on putting a concrete parking pad in that area soon, so hopefully that will take care of the problem. I mean, dumping a big load of concrete on the stuff SHOULD eradicate it.

I have used Round Up Poison Ivy nd brush killer on it with modest results, BUT, I have to respray in some areas weekly.

Dig it up - it digs up very easily. Or use a herbicide with triclopyr as the active ingredient- it is far more effective on woody plants and brush than is RoundUp/glyphosate.

I agree with gardengal that digging up the suckers, and digging the roots, all the way. back to the parent plant, is the best course of action. They call it root pruning. I've had a Euonymous fortunei for decades. It has a large trunk and is growing along a wood fence. I get a few suckers, but they are usually close to the main plant. Never had them invading the garden. It grows like crazy, on its own with no help. I wouldn't fertilize it. That could stimulate it to make new growth in the form of suckers.
