Please help identify this weed?!

This showed up last spring in my front flower bed. It gets about 7' tall and turns from the green in the pics to kinda fuzzy then the "leaves" fall off and a brown stem/stick remains...It starts growing green in January-ish and dies in the winter. The first year there was just one but this year there are several popping up.
