Believe it or not, it's important that the weed be properly identified. That makes the control methods more accurate. I can't tell from the image what it is, other than it doesn't look like the sandspur I'm familiar with. Perhaps a closer shot?

Is it growing in your lawn or in the mulched areas?

Looks to me like it may be lawnweed - Soliva sessilis.
