You have heard the expression 'a watched pot never boils'? LOL

Ultimately all one can do is review the basic horticultural parameters. Enough sun? Enough water? Enough nutrients? Any pest/disease issues? Temperatures in the appropriate range? Stuff like that.

You say you have had ideal tomato weather the past week, but that's not really enough if the weather has been iffy for while.

Cultural parameters that are all spot on this week tend to manifest themselves next week or the week after.

It just takes time. If you are confident that the basic cultural parameters are OK, then it will just require some patience.

I have no doubt that one of the biggest problems my tomatoes have is my impatience. All of the photos here of overflowing bushels posted by southerners have not helped in that regard.
Still, none of my peppers that have set have gone through a similar latency period. I just wanted to see if the tomato lag has been happening to anyone else.
