Question on cross-bred

I have two Cherokee Purple plants and both are producing red/orange tomatoes that look just like the ones that Melissa pictured in "Cherokee Purple is, well, orange!". Last year I had a sick Cherokee Purple plant with one purple fruit that I saved seed from. It appears that it was crossed. My question is, are all the seeds from that one fruit crossed or just some of them? If all of them, then I could have the same thing next year with those seeds. Other question is, if I save seeds from this cross will it look the same or go back to a bunch of different things?
