I couldn't find the thread, but maybe this is the agave you have

Wow Bossy -- you hit the nail on the head. The plant you linked to has a little more wave than mine, but I guess that is something they do under certain conditions, or certain clones. A few of the google photos show that form, but most do not.

From the internet: " Agave salmiana 'Green Goblet' is a Yucca Do selection T43-29 that was discovered in Mexico near the Sierra Chiquita Mountains. All of the Agave salmiana var. ferox in this population were blue except this clone, which displayed dark green leaves with a blue dusting at the leaf base. This 4' tall x 8' wide clump has performed extremely well in our climate to the single digits...good winter drainage is important."

If yours is a new or young plant, it might explain why not as rippley --yet

I planted it about two years ago as a young one from my original plant. It's grown very fast, is in excellent well draining soil to which a couple fertilizer tabs were added, and is a little over 2 ft x 2 ft. All my A. Salmiana 'green goblets' are beautiful, very hardy plants. I have the greyish form also.
