Funny. When I went shopping for appliances last summer the salesman was promoting the Wolf cooktop (similar grates, I think) because of the rubber feet, saying they don't damage the drip pans. I'm wondering if the're changing to metal feet, or if they've found a new way to anchor the rubber so it stays attached.

Either way, though, I love the Wolf and will be ordering it.

NO, they switched to the metal feet. He must of wanted to make a sale. Stands to reason the rubber feet would be better for the top. I also love my wolf. It makes some awesome steaks.

May I ask what phone number you have for wolf? I have a 48" six burner range and most of the feet have fallen off. When I asked the salesman about it he told me that the feet weren't available separately and that I would have to buy all new grates just because the two cent feet needed to be replaced!

My Use & Care Information booklet says the customer service phone # is 800-332-9513. I'm pretty sure that's the number I called.

The 36" Wolf rangetop we purchased in 2008 appears to have metal feet. I'll have to check the 48" 2002 model in our other house the next time I'm there. Based on the above, I'd expect to find rubber feet.

I had a Wolf repairman for another issue and he told me that they are reconfiguring the grates because of the feet. He sent me (unasked, really) 6 new grates. We only have 4 burners. Very nice service!

I did the same thing. Called to get replacement rubber feet and they sent me six new grates. Yay Wolf!!!

I've been reading all these comments about getting free grates from Wolf. I just called them and they gave me the number of a Wolf Parts distributor nearby. They said I could either buy the rubber feet or buy the new grates with metal feet. I was not offered anything for free. If anyone know a way to get free replacement parts in 2017, please let me know.

The rubber feet have melted and fallen off my 1 year old WOLF cooktop. I was told there is no such thing as metal feet. They are sending me 4 new rubber feet. Any ideas as to how I can get new grates with metal feet?

The rubber feet have melted/dissolved on my 3 year old WOLF charbroiler grate. It has been like this for at least a year. I am ready to just use adhesive and glue on a rubber pad directly to the rangetop.....bad design....

Just called and they are sending kits w replacement feet and adhesive - no new grates here.

Does anyone have a picture and corresponding part number for the round, cupped feet for the grates? Ours are cracking again. The range top has those formed SS "domes" in the drip trays to locate the grates, the silicon feet are "cupped" on the bottom to match the metal domes. What happens is after a couple years, the feet go from being fairly supple to semi-hard and then start cracking. I have a picture of a good one.

Once you use the Loctite adhesive, there's almost no way to get the old ones out except using a pair of pliers and then you might have to use a drill bit to clean the smaller bore where the new foot must be glued too. For the price we pay for these appliances, you'd think Wolf would just stockpile these feet and happily send them out free of charge. Its nuts to send out complete new grates.

How we got our WOLF replacement rubber feet / grate pads for our cooktop grates.... I called ABT electronics (abt.com and asked for parts department) located just outside of Chicago to get replacement feet. They only needed the serial number, which I found by opening the oven door of our gas cook top/dual range unit. It was located on the top right, inside border of the door frame. I had to take a picture with my phone and blow it up to read it but it was pretty easy to do overall. The replacement feet are sold in packs of 4 feet plus adhesive and are $21/pack. There was 5 day shipping for $5 - they also offer free pick up but we don't live close enough to do that.

Part number is 815689 with adhesive. Prices range from $16.41 to $41.00 for a pack of four with adhesive.

Had the same problem with our grates. Our range was purchased in 2006, so 14 years ago, and we aren't the original owners. I called Wolf Customer Service and they sent me 12 new grate pads and 3 tubes of adhesive for free. While some grate models have been redesigned without pads, they said ours was not one of them. Now that is great customer service!

Purchased Wolf gas cooktop SRT366 in 2016. By 2019 the rubber feet were disintegrating and falling out; a call to the Wolf Customer Care center resulted in replacement packs of grate pads (4 per package) and high-temperature adhesive (1 per package) sent without charge. Nice! By March 2021, the grate pads had again deteriorated where 6 had to be replaced; this time a call to the Wolf Customer Care center resulted in being referred to a regional parts supplier for purchase of replacement packs ($16.78 per package plus $10.00 shipping). Expensive! These grate pads need to be REDESIGNED by Wolf since the original design is not sufficiently durable to withstand use of the cooktop over reasonable periods of use!

I was told by an authorized Wolf supplier that the type of foot pads for my Wolf grate are not made and that I need to purchase a whole new grate for about $70 each. This concerns me because I’ve seen the Original Wolf grate selling for $230. (The foot pads I had obtained are too short.)

We bought a home with an existing Wolf range RT366. Half the foot pads are melted. I called and wolf sent me foot pad 815554 for a price(cant remember). After receiving them i realized i need a washer (pn 815555) to go around the feet as well. I just called product support and asked about the redesigned grates and they are sending 6 free of charge! The range was mfg in 2007, this is 2021. If it wasnt for this blog Id never have known to ask about the new grates. So thankful for the bloggers and Wolf.

There is a limit to the temperature endurance of elastomers, even silicone ones. While I would have guessed that the pads were far enough from the flame that the conducted heat would be tolerated by silicone, or fluorocarbons such as Viton, evidently that would have been a poor guess. Maybe Wolf should have used something like dead soft copper, or one of the appropriately expensive perfluoroelastomers (FFKM), at least one of which tolerates up to 610F.

Wolf has awesome customer service concerning their quality and customer satisfaction. I would recommend purchasing the wolf brand to anyone looking for a new range top. I had the same issue with the grates and pads from a 2007 model and they have gone above and beyond what they should be doing. Thank you Wolf!!

Extremely helpful advice. But on the phone they did not offer me the free feet until I mentioned this chat and gave them the serial number. So did those who need replacement have your serial number ready and mention this chat

We just bought our Wolf Oven and the rubber pieces are falling off and we can’t find a replacement

I will be calling Monday b/c our dual fuel range is less than a year and feet falling off.

Our 2024 range is doing the same thing and I can’t find the right pad to fit it.
