Bathroom layout help

I asked some specific questions in an earlier thread, but now I thought I'd post my current bathroom layout and ask for thoughts about where we can make changes.

We don't want to move too much plumbing to keep costs down (we're on concrete slab). We may be able to bump the closet wall down by about 3' into the bedroom, but none of the other outer walls can move. The "window" on the bottom wall and in the middle wall are actually doorways. (The window at the top of the drawing is an actual window.)

The tub, vanity and shower all need to be replaced, but the main motivation for this remodel is the major lack of storage and floor space in the tub/toilet area. We currently have a cabinet in front of the window for storage, but it makes for a very narrow path when you're getting out of the shower.

Questions:

1. I'm thinking about removing the wall between the vanity and the tub, to help open up the room. What do you think? There's an outlet and light switch in that wall. I'd like to re-locate the outlet to the mirror wall, and just get rid of the switch. Would that be hard for an intermediate level DIY-er?

2. The window on the top wall faces towards the front of the house and street. We don't live on a really busy street, but still need some kind of privacy window. The current window is really ugly and needs replacing. I'd thought about doing a bay window to add a seating area, but I think this wall is too small for that, plus it's too costly. What are privacy options for this window?

3. My most important questions are in regards to the shower and toilet area. The shower is a tad too small and the toilet gets in the way. Here are the options I thought of - most would involve bumping the bottom closet wall out and taking the top part of the closet to add to the bathroom (thereby making the closet a rectangle):

A. Rotate the toilet 90 degrees and push back to the area below the shower in this picture - shower stays same size

B. Leave the toilet as-is, extend the shower into the old closet area with the shower door where it is right now (but the current shower head is on the south shower wall - can it be relocated easily with a concrete slab?)

C. Change the shower to a corner shower, turn the area claimed from the closet to a linen cabinet, but would it be hard to get to it behind the toilet?

D. Turn the tub into a combo tub/shower (I don't really like the combo though) and turn the shower into a linen closet, we could probably keep the closet as-is.

Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
