Clearance shopping

I found some florals on sale at both Michaels and HL on their 80% off clearance sales and created an arrangement for next year, LOL!!

I bought 4 of the green glitter poinsettias and 3 of the pink and green poinsettias and then some pink and green sequin "sproings" for lack of a better word and some green filler "stuff."
Some of the pink appears to have a purple cast, but they are really hot pink.

I want to get a tall glass cylinder vase for it, so it is in a temp. vase for now. The glitter and sequins just don't photograph very well as it really pretty IRL but just doesn't show in the pix!

It is quite large, but I am happy with how it turned out.

Happy New Year,
Candy

Candy, it's gorgeous. I love all the bling and curleys you found. I use these in my trees and love 'em.
You have a whole year to look for the perfect vase! I love a bargain and sounds like you found one.
Who can turn away at 80% off? Not me, that's for sure.LOL

Jeanne, my big(10')Christmas tree is always done in lime and bright pink, so the rest of the room gets the same treatment. I bought the same poinsettias and used them on the mantle of my fireplace with some greenery and pink sparkly sprays I already had. it was only 50% off, but I was happy. I'm always on the lookout for lime and pink!

Punk, none of my holiday decor has these colors, and I really don't know where I could start it, but I really like the combination.

Jeanne, it really does glitter and gleam, but I just can;t capture it with my camera. :(

Patty cakes, sounds fabulous. Do you have pictures to share?

Thanks Nana, I hate to hide it away until next Nov. but poinsettias aren't really spring flowers, LOL.

Candy, poinsettias may not be Spring flowers, but if you have a couple of drinks you might decide its perfect for Easter decorating anyway. LOL.

That is quite the glittery, blinged up bouquet you made! Now you'll need to find a PINK Santa to go with it. ;o)

hugs, Karen
