Finished beautiful Calatta master bath - pic heavy

After months of remodel, our master bath is finished. We love the marble and spa-like finish. We used a mix of honed Calacatta and Lagos Blue for the floor and polished Calcatta Gold for the slabs.

The honed 3x6" field tile is Bianco Neve marble. Big $ mistake was discovered after laying about 25% of the Calcatta Gold 3x6 field. Too busy and much too grey. So we ripped it out and found the Bianco Neve which we love.

Stunning bathroom! I have to say the floor is my favorite part. That is GORGEOUS!!

Beautiful is right!! Is the vanity vintage? Would you be able to post a closer photo of the floor? And also share the dementions of the room? The layout is similar to what I want to do. You have done a wonderful job just like you did in the kitchen! Kudo's to you!

    Thanks so much.

The vanity was built by my cabinet maker. We found unpainted doors and the trim at Berbere Imports in Los Angeles. The store that specializes in furniture and accessories, doors, windows, furniture, etc from around the world. http://berbereimports.com/ We then designed the vanity and stained it the same color as my kitchen. I will post floor pics soon.

The back splash is FANTASTIC! You did an outstanding job on everything!

Nice job! Love the tile but think the vanity is my favorite-so unique!

Your design has a distinctive yet classical flair, which I think comes from the choice of the oval patterns in the backsplash and elsewhere, along with the circular reliefs on the vanity ... unique and pretty. Congratulations and lots of enjoyment!

Thanks so much. We also just finished our kitchen remodel (actually, we did the whole house). Here is the link to the Kitchen Forum. GW was indespensible to all that we did.

What a relaxing retreat! Really beautiful. Can you give details on the wall paint color, sink faucet and the geometric tile at the vanity and in the shower.

Your whole house, from the pics I saw, is gorgeous, and your bath is divine, especially that backsplash tile. Congratulations on a job well done!

Thank you so much. The paint was Farrow & Ball matched by Dunn Edwards (I will get you the color). the sink faucet is California Faucets Montecito #3302 in Polished Nickel.

The tub is a 72" tub from Hydrosystems. The Rachel model. It is not a jacuzzi tub but has a Hydrofusion feature that feeds the water through a warming tube to keep the water in my pool-sized tub warm within 1 degree. Uses a small amount of electricity and is sooooo quiet.

The border tile was custom made by my tile store from a version from a well known brand. It was still pricey but not as expensive as the WZ brand.

Hi Sherriz. Your bathroom is only outdone by your stunning kitchen. I love it!

I'd like to know the details on the bs mosaic tile also. It's perfect in that spot, btw. And your vanity is am-a-zing! I'm so glad I got to see it!
