You may also want to consider the cost of precast concrete walls as a comparison. I recently watched a neighbor of mine erect a 3 story home in 3 days. The walls share all the same benefits of ICF including strength and insulation as well as having the furring strips preinstalled. The manufacturer also delivered and installed the walls so the builder is entirely hands off. Another benefit seems to be the lack of foam insulation on the outside of the home for ease of stucco or siding application. Weaver precast walls were originally used in basement construction and went by the desciption of Superior Walls. The above ground wall system is called Epic Walls. I was quoted an installed price very close to your materials cost for my future project (and the dimensions are similar). The added savings of time also should be considered. Here is a link.

I believe this is rather lower per square foot than the quote we got for Polysteel ICF (and we got a bargain from someone who really wanted to make the sale -- a couple of other quotes were even higher).

The cost of the ICF material should run approx. $3/sf exterior of your house. This does NOT include rebar, bucks, etc. I did a quick est. and just for the ICF material should run around $25,500 approx. 8500sf of wall,
