Great computer tool

Did all of you know we have a "sniping" tool on our computers for those times we just want to save an idea or recipe? It's for those times when a "right click" and "save as" just won't work well. Take a look at this explanation on this blog--I can't wait to find something to try it on. I'm sure there are tons of things my computer could do to make my life easier IF only I knew about them! LOL

It's not on my computer either. I wonder what system she's using. I use XP, but I do have a newer laptop that has System 7. I might try that tonight when I go upstairs.

Hmmm, I sure don't have an answer for why it doesn't show up on all your computers. I have a laptop with Vista and it shows up on it. Luvs

Hi all,

I'm assuming you all have XP or an earlier system. The Snipping tool also shows up on my System 7 laptop. I don't like System 7 and I hated Vista! I think XP was the best system in awhile...Good for you, Luvs, for using Vista!

I asked hubs who does IT and the tool is only on Win7 and Vista operating systems. I am still using XP.
