This door was fine when it arrived but its been sitting for about 1 month. Now that it's due to go in I noticed a scratch that is almost eye level. HELP please.I will see that scratch every time I look at the door.

I know they sell etching creams in craft stores but I never did it b4 and am worried I'll make the situation worse.

Here's a picture of the damaged area maybe that will help someone come up with advice.
