My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    I absolutely agree with Terri. I get all my cabinetry custom made, and furniture custom made so I can reupholster later. Buy the best and it will be with you for a very long time. I just lucked out in getting a headboard that is incredibly well made, incredible high end fabric, and identical to the one in the picture for a very low price. It's a headboard, and unless someone is using a headboard for something unusual, it has very little wear! It illicits oohs and aahs everytime someone walks into my room. It is now 4 years old and looks like the day I purchased it. Some things you do not have to pay through the nose for, ask ANY designer. My dining room table was custom made for the very same reason: it will last forever and it is used often. It is a heritage piece.

      This bed is from the Kravet Furniture line, which is available through the trade only. I would be happy to assist you in ordering one. You may find a similar knock-off, but you get in quality what you pay.

      Terry, I just used Kravet Furniture for a big project and the line is great. I hadn't noticed that bed before.

      Debra, it is the Northport Tall Complete Bed from Kravet. I love Kravet and use their furniture and fabrics frequently.

      This was my first Kravet project, though I've used their fabric for years, but with that 'Smart' program (no fee for fabric) it is hard to beat.

      I agree, I love my sales rep at the SF Design Center. He makes working fun... We had a very difficult client, so we bonded over that. And drank a lot. .
