Yachter,
I love the giant cloche. It makes it easy to accommodate tall things, like your two new spooky acquisitions. (How can something be spooky and cute at the same time?) Seems to me someone else on this forum said they had one just like it. Wherever did you find one so big?

OA

We actually found it in Indiana, in the Amish area, in a gift shop.

They were hard to find, but I am seeing them more & more now.

Our Home Goods store had them last fall & winter and some were even etched on the glass and dare I say a lot less expensive than mine!!!!!

How cute! I have that candleholder...just beware (so to speak)...wax tends to drip all over it, and down through everything to whatever it's sitting on. I made quite a mess with mine the first year I had it. So make sure you have something easily cleaned under it when you burn those candles. :-)

Very cute, Lori..You did well. I bet your grandson loves all your Halloween decos... My gkids are still very young, so I have to go the cute rather than spooky route too.

I got my cloche in Pfaltzgraff, OAL, I think the whole thing was 12.99..I have never used it with the cake stand yet..just to decorate..

Yachter is right, you see them all over now..

Kathleen, my grandkids range from oldest 12, to youngest 6 and they are all into "scary" things, so I can do the creepy things!

And yes, I was sick when I saw the huge cloches at Home Goods last winter, but I think mine is much thicker than those, they were big like mine but the glass much thinner.

Jamie, thanks for the warning, but I won't be burning the candles, just for looks!
