Looking for any feedback or recommendations on using a stone sink in a master bathroom.

We see sinks made of sandstone, marble, onyx, limestone and granite. And, except for granite, I'm concerned about the hardness of the stone and the sink showing wear and/or staining. Perhaps these would be best used in a low-traffic guest bath and not in a primary-use master bath.
