Floor Plan Input needed

Although we're not building a home, the large addition we're currently planning will almost double the size of our house. We'd really love to hear any feedback and suggestions you may have about the layout of the new addition and how it ties into the existing house.

I can't seem to resize the pictures of the floor plans without losing too much detail, so here are the links:

Our house currently has two bedrooms, and the main reason for the addition is to add bedrooms. The current modest master will be used as a guest room, and the other bedroom will be used as an office. So all of the sleeping will take place in the addition. Kids will have the bottom two bedrooms, and we'll get the new master upstairs. Currently we're a family of 3 including our 13-month old daughter, but another child will hopefully be in our future.

I'm concerned that the first floor bath (which will serve as a powder room and bath for the two new bedrooms) will be quite crowded with two entry points. Alternatively, we could do a single door from the "New Hall" but I'm nervous that it would be a long way for kids to go to potty in the middle of the night.

Another concern is that it's a pretty long trek from the garage to the kitchen. Our front door is near the kitchen area, and now we always use that door when bringing n groceries, so I'm not sure how big of an issue the long trek will be.

I'm sure there are many other things I'm hoping we'll be able to spot in this thread so that we can adjust our plans.

Thanks!

Oh, I started a thread about the master bath over in bathrooms. I'll link it below.
