Lacanche has that option. Our 55" has just six burners as well.

This was one of the main criteria I looked for when we shopped for our 48" range. Dacor and Electrolux Icon were the only 2 I found. Doing a bit more research, I see Fisher and Paykel makes one too...

We went with the Electrolux Icon for a few reasons.

1. All knobs (no computerized oven controls). This was an aesthetic as well as "feel" issue for me. I guess the manual controls may be more reliable as well, but I don't know (other than anecdotal evidence).

2. Much less expensive than the Dacor.

3. Positive brand reputation / usage (In-laws very happy with their Icon appliances)

4. Right place / right time purchase (great deal!)

The 39" Cluny seems to have it all, electric AND gas ovens! I'm impressed.

The F&P doesn't look as good, but I was pleasantly suprised to see that they have a 36" dual oven range.

You are right about the Electrolux ICON, it is considerably less expensive - and I can buy a remote temperature probe - as has been mentioned on another thread.

8 years later and I’m only seeing the Dacor rangetop in a 6-burner 48” configuration. Wonder why that is ….? Guess it makes my decision ‘easier’. 🤣
