help with wall covering

I don't see much about bathroom paint and wallpaper here so I just posted this in 'home docorating' but would love anyone's input who's been through this and has a better eye than I!

We're redoing a guest bath in which we're adding an "invisible" door to separate the shower from what will be the powder room. Both areas are quite small. The door will be flush with the wall and no molding. When the door is closed, all that will be visible will be the space between the door and the wall and the very small finger pull used to open the door. My goal is to see if we can make it as transparent as possible so that, unless a guest is really looking, they might not even notice it's there. Thus, I'm leaning towards textured wallpaper and am considering a paintable wallpaper: varitex page 171. Looks a bit like linen or grass cloth.

Has anyone used Varitex's paintable wallpaper? The room is contemporary--we've selected a mosaic sand-colored tile that will have small chocolate brown accents. We've had a trapazoid-shaped small vanity made (inspiration came from a post on the "eye candy" thread on this forum!) that will be a deeper chocolate brown with a sand colored caesarstone top with a square 2" face and a rectangular white undermount sink. Everything we've chosen has very clean lines and is very contemporary. I've never used wallpaper and am nervous about it. Any thoughts--either about this wallpaper or alternate methods to make the door less noticable? Many thanks.
