I have had a 36" 6 burner Thermador cooktop for 4 years but I am not sure of the exact model number. We just sold that home and I am not even going to consider a different brand. I loved that cooktop but this time we will also get the griddle. The extra low was awesome. Never had a service nor a problem with the stove. Good luck on your choice. Andrea

I have had a 36" 6 burner rangetop for less than a year. It has performed well during this short time. Some people dont like the extra low as the burner turns on and off, but this has worked fine for us. I will say that it is very difficult to keep the area around the star burner clean, and I have given up on this, but if you can accept this and do not strive for the cooktop to remain looking "new", than I think it will perform well for you.

Mine's a range, I've only had it working for a month, and it's my first experience with a pro-style, but so far I'm very, very happy with it. When I called Thermador on a minor issue (missing one knob), they responded quickly and at no cost to me. My range has the extralow simmer feature on only 2 of 4 burners, but all go up to 15K BTUs. And it has blue knobs :)
