The Wall and ceiling were re-plastered to first keep the craftsman charm of some of the original character of the home. Also plaster, besides being great for sound proofing if you live in a city or have a echo(y) home and being pricier then paint, gives off a wonderful glow, warmth and plays with the color around you.
Back you you specific question....we tinted the plaster on the walls with Pratt and Lambert Paint in Golden Flees. The ceiling was down with a custom mixture of about 50% white added to the color. TIP: try out small samples on your walls first of at least 3 variations you are looking for....you won't regret the extra effort or time to find the right color for the right room. Light in a specific space changes everything!
