thank you so much! but i would like to go for a more sophisticated look for my room. i know the colours may not be the easiest to work with but im hoping something will work! and i dont use my desk as its to small so i am going to get a bigger size one so i need to know what style and colour! i am going to add more picture to my ' what i like' thing so you can see what i mean! thank you so much though!

i might just buy a white night stand and bed but i like the grey colour and the cushion :) where is te cushion from? and im from the UK would that be a problem?

The first pic is all about the linens. Your pink wall and purple carpet should be just fine.

1. De-clutter your whole room! You can purchase pretty boxes with labels to organize your things.
2. Either paint all of your furniture white/light grey to brighten things up, or buy new furniture.
3. Purchase a lower nightstand, and a new bedside table lamp!
4. I posted some inspiration pics to get you started!
5. I think that teal and gray would be nice accent colors to bring in to tone down all of the pink.

n1c0l3, I couldn't draw anything if my life depended on it, unless you want stick figures and lollipop trees, sorry. If the purple carpet is bothering you, accessories and linens in black and grays will take care of that. Also turquoise, as dcer suggests.

What you need to do is paint your walls; clean your room; look at all the pictures of things you like and start in one corner and continue across your room. You can't do anything with your room a mess the way it is.

dcer, would the blueish colour go with like the pink and purple? also where do you get the night stand? also is there a desk like it?

I dont know if they ship globally, though...yes, I think that if you add enough gray and teal to the room, it will tone down the pink/purple.

Paint some of the furniture white or black add black picture frames. The black and white wii make the walls pop.

My daughter's room is hot pink her bed is white, the mirror is black, her lamp is black and white. Attached is a picture of her comforter. She gets compliants every time someone sees her room

if you want to incorporate more colours, put some pictures on the wall. this will also drown out the pink a bit.
