Well, I can contribute here! We completed ours a year ago. Here's our pictures attached. we used a combination of subway and 6 x 6 tiles, used some on diagonal (not to 80's), black pencil liner, black rosettes and trim. I really like the blue we had orginally too...or bluish green would have been a nice accent.
