Looks like a nice house but my personal preference, is to have an independent back entry (mud room). I think it is not nice to enter the house thru the laundry - in this kind of house.
On the other hand, the kitchen is very far from the garage.

You have a good point about the garage being so far away from the kitchen. That is the biggest drawback that we have. We LOVE the exterior of the home, but there are some flaws with the interior that we hope we can change.

The exterior of the home reminds me of a pre-Civil War Mansion I toured in Nashville called Belle Meade.
