Gmp3- The vanity is 36 inches wide. We originally wanted to use a 30 inch size to free up some room, but couldn't find an affordable vanity I liked. I am really glad we ended up going with the 36 inch size, I love having the extra counter space.

therenee-yes, it is custom. I found the fabric at Calico Corners, ( a fabric store with discounted prices) and had it made.

Yes, it is the delta dryden. We like it a lot. The faucet was one of the first things I picked because it has the square lines and a high arc. It works great too.

That looks amazing! What are the dimensions of your half bath? And, is that a pocket door in the first picture? Did you keep a pocket door (and if so, how do you like it as the main guest bathroom door)? We're debating one for a half bath we're adding on for guests but I'm hesitant.

Kermit4777, my room is 3 ft wide by almost 7 ft long. No, it is not a pocket door, the door swings out into a small laundry room/hallway that is off the garage. I actually really wanted to put in a pocket door but it would have been too expensive. I decided I would rather put our money into finishes in the room.

gmp3, the paint is BM's gray owl. I love that is looks more gray at some parts of the day and you can see the hints of green at other parts of the day.

He loves it! He very happy when a project is finished, I drive him a little nuts asking him a million questions about what tile or vanity, etc he would prefer. In the end he just left it up to me, and was very happy with the results!

I've bookmarked a pic of that same/similar vanity for my new half bath - can you give me the details on it? How many drawers open? Did the countertop come with it? If not is it a marble top that is built in to the wall?

We got the vanity from Lowes and modified it a bit. I changed out the hardware from the brushed it came with to more substantial chrome knobs. It actually came with a different beige countertop/sink but I really wanted a white marble countertop with rectangular sink, so I removed the countertop it came with. I found a rement of Georgia Cherokee Marble at a local fabricators and actually found the sink online. We had the vanity installed and then the marble countertop installed on top about a week later.

It has five drawers that open, which is great. I love having the space for toilet paper, hand towels, lipstick, etc. I actually had a hard time finding a rectangular sink to fit in it,(it wouldn't fit the typical 18x12) so I thought I might have to take out the top two drawers and just make those fronts, but luckily I didn't have to do that!

I know this probably sounds like a lot of work, but I spent endless nights searching vanities online and didn't find a thing. This one was just the style I wanted (all drawers, shelf on bottom, up on legs) and I ended up spending less doing this with my own countertop, etc than I would have going with a typical vanity/furntiure company.
