How to clean stainless griddle (Bluestar)?

I have a fairly new Bluestar 36" cooktop with griddle. Did the seasoning, cooked a few pancakes, all good. Then did burgers on it this evening and there is quite a bit of brown stuff stuck on there. The instructions say to use a nylon scrubber with some cooking oil, but this doesn't seem to be doing the trick. What's the best way to clean this heavy-duty gunk off?

Mine isn't a Bluestar, but I'm sure it's the same. If the griddle has cooled down, I heat it up and put a few ice cubes in the gunk, as the ice melts and boils, it softens up the gunk. Then I use a scraper or scrubby. Makes it easy to get the stuff up.

I keep meaning to buy a griddle brick, but really haven't needed it yet. Your griddle isn't stainless, by the way, it's cast iron. You can't season stainless.
