Sweets, I also worked on my porch! I had already twisted some green pine garland around my chandelier-candleier(the one I made from an old chandelier,lol. So now it looks like it has a wreath sitting on its arms. Then the other day I added some faux magnolia blossoms and cinnamon pinecones,and little pieces of "iced" branches. My DH and I got the green garland around the hand rails and the galley rails,with the lights up,too. I'm glueing different gold ball ornaments together for more decoration on the garland. OH, yeah......and pretty much the same for the wreath on the door. Gold wire edged ribbon bows. :) Also making mosaics,I found a silver plate compote,looks like a small birdbath and the perfect porcelain bird for it...and more jewelry. Making photos of the grandchildren as if they were fairies,added wings,etc,and will use glitter glue on those,and put them in jars. I think I finally have the photos the way I want them. Broke my last drill bit,so I'll be headed to the hardware store tomorrow:)

i am a pre-k asst. in a daycare center so i have 20 kids in my class and 10 kids i get off the bus( schoolies as we call them] so i always try to find a cheap/easy craft to make for them,be it homemade cards,puzzle piece riendeer head necklace ( get old puzzle pieces and paint them tan and add eyes with paint and a red pompom nose,glue to pin!),snowman pin ( wooden snowmen painted/glued to pin)
peppermint necklace ( twist red/white pipe cleaners inot a circle wrap in cello,tie ends with ribbon,glue to cardboard round and then to ribbon/pin) anywyas i was at the dollar store and saw the cutest lil wall plaques ,10 to a pack for $1 ,they already have blue ribbon for hanging ( on tree or wall)last night i painted snowmen,snow & snow falling on them,painted eyes blue/black ,black coal mouths, black buttons on their tummies,gave them all brown stick arms.now i am painting each one with a different colored nose,scarf,ear muffs,hats etc...they are turning out pretty cute.the plaque is about 3 x 4 in size so small enough for hanging on a tree....i will put the year and love ms.beth on the backs with my trusty sharpie!

I've been behind trying to finish up a few Thanksgiving painting projects. Will have to wait to enjoy them next year since I didn't get them finished in time for this year. :)
This week will try to get some olive oil bottle soap dispensers done and gotta make 3 glass block lights. Maybe I'll get around to duplicating a paver Santa that Sweets did a few years ago. I thought he was so cute. Need to paint some soaps and make some marble magnets for DD to give as gifts. Prepping some other projects to paint. Oh and making a few heatable rice bags. I think that's it. :) ~Anj

Tree topper from Dollar Tree. It was a metallic silver, not my style but I knew I could make it work in my Prim home so I bought it. I painted it with brown paint and sprinkled with cinnamon for a sort of "rusted" look. Now it won't sit on the tree so I have it up on a shelf on display instead! LOL

Still a WIP. This is a small tree that I bought last year for the bathroom. It stays out all year but I just added the ornaments. I made the salt dough moons and stars. The bells came from Dollar Tree and were silver. I painted them brown and sprinkled with cinnamon, too.

Two more of our 7 trees (I want to get to Dollar General today and pick up one more! I have an idea for a laundry room one! LOL I drive DH crazy this time of year!)

Crocheting fancy cuffs on fuzzy gloves for my mom and my best friend  there is NO way IÂm ever going to learn to make my own gloves, but I can sure dress them up !

My own pair are oscar-the-grouch green, with green and brown fun-fur cuffs  and they really bring out my Inner Muppet ;)

Most of my beadwork is done for the season, now IÂm just matching people up with piecesÂthough I have started tinkering with spring colors a bit.

full-sized blanket for said shutterbug, in 15 shades of khaki (a running joke between us about his Âsocial camouflage a total contrast to his brilliant personality)

tool rolls out of striped canvas for my husband  one for his drafting class, one for his sculpture class, one for all the little dental picks and such he uses for his minatures.

And gift wrapping, which is always an elaborate thing with me  this year, IÂm mostly using photo boxes that IÂm recovering in old-stock wallpaper.
