So, our windows just arrived and most of them are perfect. We're doing metal clad/CVG fir windows for the top two floors. Our basement level has vinyl windows which are color matched to the metal on the exterior (not visible from the front of the house).

So, yesterday, I was checking out the windows and the vinyl windows look great on the outside. The color is nearly identical to the metal ones. However, inside, they are a beige color. I had asked for just white inside and never even considered another color. It's really noticeable, especially next to some white french doors.

Anyway, so today my contractor called to say that new windows with white interiors have been ordered. I'm so happy, we didn't even have to ask for this solution. I wasn't even sure if this mistake was somehow my fault for not double checking.

I guess I posted this because I have noticed a number of posts lately with GC's making errors, and I feel like our situation is an example of how mistakes should be handled.
