Bosch Mixer

Help..Help. I have an old Bosch Mixer. The top to the bowl, which has two parts, is frozen together. They are made of two different types of plastic. White and clear. I have tried soaking in hot water, cold water and pouring cooking oil on it to loosen them apart. Nothing that I have tried works. Can you please help me with an idea?
