Outdoor fireplace dimensions? Need help QUICK!!

We are putting in an outdoor fireplace by a pavillion next to our pool. They are pouring the concrete for the decking Monday. I JUST found out that I need to have them 'notch' out an area in the pavillion floor (before they pour) so that they can put 'footers' in to support the fireplace independently of the pavillion floor. My carpenter needs to know by the morning what size to make the slab for the fireplace. I guess it would be better to have it a bit on the large side, but I haven't a clue what size to tell him.

I like the fireplaces on the FireRock website. We will do a 36" insert. What should the depth and width be? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Joanie

Go to www.lennoxhearthproducts.com, then select outdoor fireplaces. From there select woodburning or gasburning.

Wood Burining - Oasis (LSO43) is the largest, then MP42OD, then MP36OD.

Gas Buring ( No Vent Stack required) - E42ODG and E36ODG.

Look under downloads to get spec's and sizes.

Thanks Macey. As it turns out, another disaster. They are pouring the pool decking tomorrow and they didn't make the 13 x 13 are for the pavillion level so we have to use pavers in that area at a later date. The concrete company is at fault, but they said they are still going to charge me for the time and materials they used to frame it out. What a rip off....just like everything in this business of building a pool. The pavillion and fireplace will have to wait.
