You've already stated that you don't want the maintainence associated with a wood floor. Cork has about the same maintainence requirements as wood, with periodic screening and recoating required. In addition, cork is sensitive to UV exposure and direct sunlight can fade it significantly.

If low maintainence is the #1 requirement, as you seem to indicate by your posts, a porcelain tile with epoxy grout is about as maintainence free as it gets. You can install underfloor heating to minimize the coldness during the winter months. I have underfloor heating in my bathrooms and it's a cheap luxury. The cats love it! (so do I!)
