The feature of the light coming on when you walk through the door is toggled by holding the light button on the wall control in for 10 seconds. Some of the newer bulbs do not make contact in the light socket. Try changing the 2 bulbs around to see if this may be the problem. You can also pull out on the center contact in the socket if you disconnect the power first.
