Craftsman Garage Door Opener - Won't Open with Remote

Here's a good one: my Craftsman garage door opener won't work with any of the remotes. When I press the remote button, I can see the "receive" light on the back of the opener flash, so I know the problem is not in any of the remotes. Any thoughts on how to repair this?

BTW, it works fine with the wired switch.

Make sure the lock function on the wall control is on. If the light in the wall control is flashing press and hold the lock button for about 3 seconds.
